Unity is a word often spoken about, but what does it mean?

The oxford dictionary defines unity as:

• The state of being united or joined as a whole.
• In Mathematics- The number one.

If we substitute the word unity for the definitions above, we get:

• Together on the path to wholeness
• Together on the path to oneness

The word unity is from the Old French word, unite and the Latin word unitas meaning one. This could not be more perfect. When we unite we become one!
